Farm Town

SO - I got Mike addicted to farmtown - when I say I -- I mean WE - All the gay guys who we hang out with have been using this application on facebook where you can play like a "Sims" sort of game and you grow and plant your own crops - building up your own farming empire complete with sending each other gifts of farm animals or trees or now they updated it and you can send flowers which need to be watered on some sort of regular basis --

BUT - as soon as I started a farm for Mike... he got all into it.. and tonight - it is gone... The facebook IT team has blogged that they KNOW ABOUT IT and that they were working on the problem-- some sources advised it had been hacked and was all gone. Others advised it was to due with the updates...

WELL, I've recently been able to buy a wishing well, a HUGE red barn - some new pathways - and I got many roosters (cocks) from friends... I got a BBQ with food on it - and a small house.. and ALL my crops were about ready to be harvested... and T"S GONE!~?

WTH?

But my boss at work Just told me it's back up and my crops are still there and ready to be harvested.... I hope I have time ... I don't go to lunch until 3 am- still 30 minutes away! Wish me luck! I'm so relieved!

The Sisterhood of the John Deer Hoodie!

It's amazing how in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" stories these pair of jeans fit all the girls in the group - from Carmen's wide "hippy" full figure - (Played by Ugly Betty's America Ferrera) to the slim jock legs of B (Played by Blake Lively of Gossip Girl) and may others... Now I can relate...

So I don't have the pictures of it yet but we spent the first half of Sunday at a Good Guys Car show! All Hot rods and show cars in different states of repair and remake and remodelling... I'll post some of those too... but - here's what happened - I had a hoody - I'm ALWAYS hot - but I was wearing it and I wasn't too uncomfortable - BUT It was getting cooler and beginning to rain a little off and on... Carl and Will didn't have hoodies like Dalton Mike and I - so I offered Mine up - it's HUGE so it'll be too big... but it fit! And then later that day we went to the beer bust and almost everyone found it fit them just right too... Here's proof!

But then Stevie sees how comfy and comforting it looks and he has to try it ...he is pleasantly surprised!

Brent grabs the hoody for his turn and he can't help but be amazed by it's warmth and full cranium coverage!

Stevie can't take it though... he HAS to have Hoody BACK! Immediately!!!

Carl sees how much it's turned Stevie and everyone else into tough men even though we're at a gay bar and he HAS to have a go....

So of course since Stevie's addicted obviously he's harder with each go...

But if you look behind him you can see Will is excited for his turn... It is such fun - His gang name is "Hooded!"

It doesn't react the same on everyone... Our friend Warren here is attacked by the lust but it goes a whole new direction here....

Too Many Beef Sticks!

So my sisters birthday is right now... My little sis is now officially 30 years old! Dirty thirty!

This weekend we hosted along with our neighbors, a HUGE masquerade party in our adjoining yards! Huge tents put up - some cool lights lit up the multiple trees... we had fire pit and music playing... and FOOD! Tons of food!

My house housed so much food... BBQ Burgers, Spaghetti, Chips, dips, veggies all freshly cut, garnish trays, cheeses and meats... and BRATWURSTS!!! Tons of brats! All boiled in Beer before they were reheated fresh on the Grills. SO GOOD! Add some Kraut and some mustard... SET! So good... Everyone loved all the food but we over bought... We now have HUGE bags full of Brats... I've even brought a huge bag of them to work... People take turns helping out so people can run to the kitchen to heat up a sausage or two and bring it back in to eat.

I had some at the party... then had some the next night while munching. Mike came home from work last night and he made Brats and Rice ... only to find out he'd ALSO cut up brats and put them IN the rice too! SO GOOD!

I need more recipe's that we can use for the Brats... ideas? LOL Did I mention my mom, sister and daughter leave for a week in Hawaii and we'll be eating them ourselves here soon!? Hmmmm.
